About The Position

Westwood Public School seeks candidates of diverse backgrounds and experiences for the Head Varsity Softball Coach position for the 2025-26 school year. Our School Westwood High School is a thriving community of hardworking and thoughtful students, families, and staff. Requirements

• Must be Concussion Certified
• Must be CPR/AED Certified
• Must have or obtain the MIAA Coaches Education Certification
• Must communicate effectively with school admin, faculty, parents, and student-athletes
• Must have a flexible schedule for home games and buses for away games

Nice To Haves

• Previous Softball coaching or playing experience is desirable.
• Previous experience in either high school, college or both is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise student-athletes at all team events
• Promote a positive learning environment for all team members
• Have a flexible schedule for home games and buses for away games
• Communicate with athletic trainer concerning injuries and student playing status
