About The Position

STAR Rush Cincinnati is seeking an experienced Head Soccer Coach in Cincinnati, Ohio. STAR Rush is a competitive youth soccer Club located in Greater Cincinnati. The club is a non-profit organization that offers youth soccer programs to children ages 3 through 19 years old. STAR Rush is a member of the Ohio Soccer Association and our teams compete in the Ohio Soccer State League, Buckeye Premier Youth Soccer League, Cardinal Premier League and the Cincinnati Development League. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will: Follow the direction and philosophy set forth by the Club with the main focus on individual player development Have the ability to coach both male and female players, the technical and tactical side of the 4 game models 5v5, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11 Lead team training sessions and in game coaching whilst encouraging a competitive and inclusive team environment Game scheduling and team administration Assisting the Club in identifying players and forming teams at Tryouts, twice annually Coaches are required to participate in educational programs such as clinics and Club meetings and assist the Club with seasonal Age Group Training

Requirements

• Previous coaching experience is required
• Passionate about kids and youth soccer
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be fun, energetic and enthusiastic
• Must be able to pass a background check, Safe Sport and all State requirements
• Must be available to work on evenings and weekends
• Be confident and capable of dealing with parents and upholding the STAR Rush philosophy

Nice To Haves

• Goalkeeper coaching experience / qualifications
• Futsal experience / qualifications
• Experience with 3-5 year old players
