The Head of US Facilities will lead the strategic operations, facilities management, and Office employee experience for all US-based offices. Reporting to the Director of Global Workplace, based in Israel, this role ensures our environments are safe, inclusive, and optimized for productivity. You will lead a distributed team to deliver a seamless "day in the life" for our US employees while managing local vendor relationships and multi-million dollar Opex budgets. This is a hands-on role that blends strategic planning with operational execution.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required; advanced degree or facilities certification preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in facilities management, workplace operations, or corporate real estate.
  • Experience managing multiple sites across different geographies.
  • Proven experience leading distributed teams.
  • Ability to operate independently and make sound decisions in real-time situations.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end facilities operations across Waltham, Palo Alto (HQ), and Rochester offices.
  • Drive standardization across US sites while allowing for local needs.
  • Manage all vendor relationships including janitorial, security, HVAC, reception, catering, and property management; negotiate contracts and enforce SLAs.
  • Ensure full compliance with OSHA requirements, local building codes, and internal safety standards; lead emergency preparedness and business continuity planning.
  • Oversee logistics for company events, executive visits, and major internal gatherings to ensure operational excellence.
  • Provide regular reporting to the Director of Global Workplace on budget performance, utilization trends, vendor performance, and risk management.
  • Lead and develop a distributed facilities and workplace team, establishing clear accountability and consistent service standards across sites.
  • Partner with Finance, HR, IT, and Security to ensure a seamless and secure workplace experience.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for complex workplace issues and ensure timely resolution across all US sites.
  • Support a positive employee experience across all US locations.
  • Own US Workplace Opex and Capex budgets, including forecasting, variance management, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Support lease renewals, landlord relationships, site reconfigurations, build-outs, and decommissioning projects in partnership with Global Workplace leadership.
  • Analyze space utilization and occupancy data to provide strategic recommendations on footprint optimization and hybrid workplace strategy.
