About The Position

The Head of Subservicing Oversight will monitor and manage third-party mortgage subservicers to optimize performance and ensure compliance with regulatory, investor, and agency guidelines. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related experience.
  • 15+ years of mortgage servicing experience to include responsible risk management and strategic decision-making and ability to manage complex projects and initiatives
  • Minimum of 5 years of Mortgage Default Experience
  • Minimum of 5 Years of Mortgage Subservicing Experience

Responsibilities

  • Vendor Management: Serve as Primary Point of Contact and Oversee the performance of subservicers to ensure they meet contractual obligations and performance standards.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, often through dashboards and performance scorecards, to evaluate service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and deliver detailed reports to senior management on performance, risk, and compliance issues.
  • Compliance and Risk: Monitor Subservicer and Internal Testing to ensure compliance with State, Federal, Investor, and Agency guidelines.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance service workflows and customer experience
  • Delinquency and Default Management: Provide oversight of default-related activities managed by the subservicer, such as collections, loss mitigation, bankruptcy, and foreclosure.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or breaches of service level agreements or guidelines identified through monitoring and audits.
