About The Position

The Head of Strategic Partnerships will drive strategic growth by developing and securing new partnerships for our healthcare services organization. This role is focused on selling clinical practice management and operational services. The ideal candidate brings proven experience selling complex healthcare services, building long-term partnerships, and navigating executive-level healthcare decision-makers. This is a consultative, relationship-based sales role requiring deep understanding of healthcare operations, physician groups, and healthcare business strategy.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of progressive business development or healthcare services sales experience.
  • Demonstrated experience selling healthcare services, partnerships, or operational solutions (e.g., practice management, revenue cycle management, consulting, MSO services, healthcare staffing, or similar service-based models).
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, physician practice dynamics, and executive decision-making processes.
  • Proven success closing complex, relationship-driven service agreements.
  • Strong executive presence and consultative selling ability.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50%.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Experience working directly with physicians or healthcare leadership preferred.
  • MBA or healthcare-related advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities with physician groups, healthcare organizations, and strategic healthcare stakeholders.
  • Position and sell comprehensive practice management and operational services tailored to client needs.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead full-cycle service-based sales efforts including discovery, needs assessment, solution design, proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Conduct executive-level presentations outlining service value, operational impact, and financial benefit.
  • Structure partnership models and service agreements that support long-term collaboration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, healthcare executives, and operational leaders.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding client pain points and aligning services to address operational, financial, and strategic challenges.
  • Monitor healthcare market trends, MSO/practice management developments, and competitor activity.
  • Provide strategic insights to leadership to inform expansion and partnership strategy.
  • Maintain pipeline visibility and report on partnership development activity and performance metrics to the CEO.
