Consumer Banking and Lending (CBL) Wells Fargo Consumer Banking and Lending (CBL) serves customers across the country through online and digital channels, numerous retail branches, ATMs, and customer service centers. CBL is focused on innovating and transforming our business with customers at the center, better enabling them to engage with us how, when, and wherever they choose through a broad suite of financial products and services. CBL includes Auto; Branch Oversight & Support; Branch Systems & Transformation; Cards & Personal Loans; Deposits, Payments and Business Banking; Home Lending; Retail Services; Affluent and Premier Banking; National Branch Network; and National Growth and Enablement lines of business; and CBL's BSA AML, Chief Administration Office, Marketing, and Strategy functions. CBL also includes Digital, Data and AI, which provides support across Wells Fargo's consumer businesses. The Role The role manages strategic card partnerships, including relationships, agreements and performance, to deliver sustained customer value and business results. This role also manages Wells Fargo’s cobranded credit card P&L with accountability for delivering revenue growth, profitability, and risk outcomes aligned to Cards and Personal Loans priorities. Key Responsibilities include: Serve as executive owner for strategic card partnerships, ensuring delivery of contracted customer, financial, and operational outcomes Own Cobrand P&L performance across revenue, profitability, growth, and risk with clear accountability for results Set Cobrand strategy and investment priorities, including value proposition, portfolio direction, and capital allocation Lead partnership lifecycle decisions—renew, expand, simplify, or exit—based on performance, strategic fit, and risk Orchestrate cross‑enterprise execution across Product, Technology, Risk, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to drive program performance Build and lead a high‑performing team with disciplined focus on growth, partnership stewardship, and enterprise risk management The Candidate This leader must be an exceptional leader and will be recognized for accomplishments related to hiring, retaining, and developing a world-class staff. Successful candidates will be articulate, poised, proactive and possess a demonstrated leadership capability with strong interpersonal effectiveness. They must have strong understanding of business drivers and processes and be an effective influencer that has credibility with business leaders and able to offer credible challenge as needed. Leadership, relationship management, and credibility will be determining factors in selection.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of Management experience

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of relevant experience leading Cobrand programs, strategic partnerships, P&L management or related leadership roles within financial
  • Demonstrated P&L accountability for revenue, profitability, and risk outcomes, including investment prioritization and performance management
  • Strong understanding of Cobrand credit card programs and third‑party ecosystems, including networks, processors, and critical vendors
  • Proven ability to lead complex, high‑value partnerships through negotiation, contract governance, and lifecycle decisioning
  • Enterprise leadership capability, including building high‑performing teams and driving results through matrixed organizations with sound judgment and executive‑level communication
