Your career path with us starts here As a Head of Sound / Technical Manager, you will oversee the entire ship's visual and audible presence. Requirements
- Minimum 21 years old
- Relevant ship experience is preferred
- Good level of English language
- Ship experience is preferred
- Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with guests, department heads and crewmembers to foresee and resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the sound and lighting equipment in all entertainment venues on board the vessel.
- Ensures an efficient set up, presentation and operation within the entertainment framework.
- Maintain an engaging manner to guest artists, fellow co-workers and passengers at all times.
- Assist the Cruise Director and their staff within the entertainment program.
- Perform any duty assigned by the Cruise Director and/or Entertainment Director.
- Work effectively with fellow staff and management from all departments.
- Monitors timely attendance, appearance and professional performance in all venues.
- Provide daily schedules for the technical team under their supervision.
- Complete performance appraisals that are a fair and accurate measure of the technical team.
- Attend all department and inter-departmental meetings.
