Your career path with us starts here As Head Lighting Technician , you will oversee all aspects of lighting operations for entertainment productions, ensuring high-quality lighting designs and safe execution of lighting cues. This position requires proficiency with GrandMa2 lighting consoles, expertise in lighting maintenance, and familiarity with operating a genie. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the lighting team, designing lighting for guest entertainers, and operating the lighting set by the lighting designer.

Requirements

Minimum 21 years old
Relevant ship experience is preferred
Good level of English language
Ship experience is preferred
Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with guests, department heads and crewmembers to foresee and resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.

Responsibilities

Design lighting for guest entertainers, ensuring it meets their technical requirements and enhances their performance.
Operate the lighting set by the lighting designer during rehearsals and performances, ensuring seamless execution of lighting cues.
Supervise and coordinate the lighting team during rehearsals and performances.
Provide guidance and support to ensure smooth operation of lighting equipment.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on lighting fixtures and equipment.
Ensure that all lighting equipment is in optimal condition and meets safety standards.
Generate detailed automation show reports.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of all automation systems.
Provide timely updates on maintenance issues or safety concerns.
Provide comprehensive handover notes before the contract ends.
