About The Position

Aracor is on a mission to build a world-class product that will redefine dealmaking. Our AI-native platform helps in-house legal teams manage thousands of pages of documents with greater speed and precision, uncovering key insights and risks in seconds. We are launching our MVP and seeking our first Head of Sales to build and lead our revenue function from zero to repeatable scale. As Head of Sales, you will play a critical role in defining and executing our go-to-market strategy and driving revenue growth. This is a builder role: you will own the full sales cycle - from prospecting to closing - while working closely with leadership to refine positioning, pricing, and sales process. You will be responsible for closing Aracor’s first customers and building the foundation for a scalable revenue engine.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, legal tech, fintech, AI, or enterprise workflow software.
  • Experience as an early or first sales hire at a startup (0→1), building pipeline and closing initial customers without significant marketing support.
  • Proven track record of closing complex, consultative deals, ideally including six-figure ACV or enterprise sales cycles.
  • Experience selling into corporate legal teams, private equity firms, venture capital firms, or related dealmaking environments strongly preferred.
  • Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to tailor messaging to executive decision-makers and multi-stakeholder buying committees.
  • Ability to sell and position technical products (including AI) clearly, credibly, and responsibly—including handling questions about accuracy, confidentiality, and security.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable building and owning CRM hygiene, pipeline reporting, and forecasting.
  • Founder-level ownership mindset and comfort operating in ambiguity.
  • Strategic and hands-on: able to define GTM strategy while also doing outbound, running demos, and closing deals personally.
  • High credibility and professionalism with senior legal and investment decision-makers.
  • Curious, fast-learning, and customer-obsessed; able to translate customer insights into actionable product feedback.
  • High integrity and strong attention to detail (critical in legal and financial workflows).

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential customers, focusing on in-house legal teams, PE firms, and VC firms.
  • Own the full sales cycle end-to-end, including outbound prospecting, discovery, demos, negotiations, and close.
  • Conduct tailored product demos, clearly communicating Aracor’s value in due diligence and complex document review workflows.
  • Develop and execute an initial sales strategy to drive new business and establish repeatable pipeline generation.
  • Build strong relationships with senior legal and investment professionals and understand their workflows, constraints, and decision-making process.
  • Partner closely with leadership to refine pricing, packaging, messaging, and ideal customer profile (ICP).
  • Provide structured customer feedback to shape product development and marketing efforts.
  • Build and implement sales infrastructure, including CRM processes, pipeline reporting, and forecasting discipline.
  • Over time, help define the hiring plan and playbook for scaling the sales team post-initial traction.
