About The Position

Taekus is a profitable fintech and travel startup building a next-generation premium banking and rewards ecosystem for affluent customers. With $70M+ in annual revenue and $3B+ in annual transaction volume, we’re entering a new stage of growth focused on scaling our core banking systems, rewards infrastructure, and partner integrations. We’re seeking a Head of Risk & Fraud to design, build, and scale the risk architecture that underpins our platform. This role owns risk strategy across fraud, payments, operations, and enterprise risk—ensuring we can safely launch and scale new financial products while maintaining best-in-class controls. You’ll work closely with founders and cross-functional partners across product, engineering, credit, operations, and compliance to build a modern risk organization for a high-growth fintech platform.

Requirements

10+ years in risk management, fintech operations, fraud, or enterprise risk
Experience leading risk programs at a fintech, payments company, or modern bank
Strong understanding of operational risk, fraud prevention, and fintech risk infrastructure
Experience building risk frameworks that scale with high-growth financial products
Builder mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-moving environment
Strong cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, and compliance teams

Responsibilities

Own and evolve Taekus’s enterprise risk management framework across all products and operations
Design and scale risk infrastructure across fraud, payments, operations, and financial products
Partner with product and engineering to build automated risk monitoring and controls
Develop risk policies and governance structures that support company growth
Monitor and manage key risk metrics across the platform
Work closely with sponsor banks and compliance partners to maintain regulatory alignment
Build and lead the risk and fraud organization as Taekus scales
