About The Position

As the Head of Regional Strategy & Transformation, you'll partner directly with the President of North America to define, drive, and execute the region's most critical strategic initiatives. In this highly visible role, you'll translate business insights into action-helping shape the mid- and long-term direction of our hearing care business. This is a rare opportunity to make a measurable impact at scale and work closely with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to advance Sonova's mission of helping ensure others enjoy the delight of hearing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in strategy, corporate development, or business transformation
  • 3+ years at a top-tier consultancy (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Strategy&, Kearney) highly preferred
  • Proven success leading strategic initiatives within healthcare, MedTech, or consumer industries
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Confident communicator and influencer, capable of navigating complex stakeholder environments
  • Experience in a global, matrixed organization with the ability to lead without formal authority
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.
  • A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the President and North America Leadership Team to define, prioritize, and execute regional strategic plans aligned with global priorities
  • Conduct market, competitive, and customer analyses to identify growth opportunities, risks, and emerging trends
  • Lead strategic planning cycles, business cases, and executive-level presentations that support data-driven decision-making
  • Partner cross-functionally to drive strategic initiatives, including M&A evaluations, business development, and operational transformation projects
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to senior leadership, providing actionable insights to improve regional performance
  • Monitor progress against key strategic goals and recommend adjustments to ensure continued alignment with business objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive collaboration and influence outcomes
