The Role We are hiring a Head of Recruiting to build and scale a world-class talent function that supports Mariana’s rapid growth. This leader will own end-to-end recruiting strategy, execution, and infrastructure, balancing high-quality hiring with speed and efficiency. You will design and operationalize recruiting systems, drive cross-functional hiring programs, and build a strong recruiting team. This role requires a blend of strategic leadership, recruiting operations depth, and strong program/project management capabilities to scale hiring in a structured, repeatable way.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of recruiting experience, with 7–10 years in leadership roles
  • Proven track record of scaling recruiting functions in high-growth environments
  • Strong experience in recruiting operations (process design, tooling, systems)
  • Demonstrated expertise in program/project management applied to hiring (planning, execution, tracking)
  • Experience hiring across technical and business roles
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the company-wide hiring strategy across technical and business roles
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing recruiting team
  • Design and optimize recruiting operations, processes, and systems (ATS, tooling, workflows)
  • Drive recruiting as a program: planning, tracking, and delivering against hiring goals with clear metrics
  • Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs and translate business goals into hiring plans
  • Implement scalable interview processes with strong signal, consistency, and candidate experience
  • Improve time-to-fill, quality of hire, and recruiter productivity through operational rigor
  • Manage external partners (agencies, vendors) where needed
  • Ensure a high-quality, consistent candidate experience across all touchpoints
  • Own recruiting data, analytics, and reporting-establishing dashboards and metrics to track funnel health, hiring efficiency, and quality of hire, and using insights to continuously improve outcomes
  • Build and scale strategic recruiting programs (e.g., internal mobility, diversity & inclusion, university recruiting, and talent pipelines) to support long-term workforce planning and company growth
