About The Position

First Eagle Investments is seeking a Global Head of Product Management and Development to be based in New York. This is a critical leadership role at the center of the firm’s next phase of growth, with a mandate to shape and execute a comprehensive, global product strategy across public and private markets, multiple vehicle structures, and evolving client segments. This individual will serve as the strategic architect of the firm’s product platform—responsible for both protecting and extending our flagship mutual fund franchise while expanding into new product areas, structures, and geographies. The role requires a forward-looking leader who can anticipate market evolution, translate client needs into differentiated solutions, and ensure our product lineup remains competitive, scalable, and aligned with the firm’s long-term vision. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise across liquid and semi-liquid vehicles, a strong understanding of global distribution dynamics, and a proven ability to lead complex product innovation efforts across asset classes including equities, fixed income, alternatives, and multi-asset strategies.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in asset management, with a significant track record of leading product strategy and development
  • Deep expertise across multiple asset classes and vehicle structures, including both liquid and semi-liquid/private market solutions
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling product platforms across wealth, institutional, and international channels
  • Strong understanding of global distribution dynamics, including U.S., Latin America, and offshore markets
  • Proven ability to translate market trends and client needs into innovative, commercially successful products
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing and developing senior teams across multiple locations
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to operate at both the strategic enterprise level while executing tactically.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience engaging senior executives and investment teams
  • Undergraduate degree required

  • MBA, CFA, CAIA or equivalent strongly preferred
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 preferred

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Development Define and lead a globally integrated product strategy spanning public and private markets, with a focus on scalable growth across wealth, institutional, and international channels
  • Partner with senior leadership to align product strategy with firm-wide growth priorities, including expansion in Latin America, international markets, and the U.S. family office channel
  • Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation through launch and post-launch optimization
  • Drive innovation across traditional and alternative investment offerings, including semi-liquid and private market structures
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities across vehicle structures (e.g., mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, CITs, ICAVs, SICAVs, AIFs, and other semi-liquid/private market solutions) to meet evolving client preferences
  • Evolve and extend the firm’s legacy mutual fund platform through thoughtful product innovation, vehicle diversification, and strategic repositioning
  • Oversee the development of business cases, market sizing, and competitive analysis to support new product initiatives
  • Ensure efficient execution across global jurisdictions, balancing speed-to-market with operational and regulatory rigor
  • Product Management Establish a best-in-class product intelligence capability that leverages data and market insight to inform product strategy, competitive positioning, and innovation priorities
  • Ensure continuous assessment of the firm’s product lineup and competitive positioning to maintain relevance, differentiation, and pricing discipline
  • Partner closely with distribution leadership to align product strategy with channel-specific needs across U.S. wealth, institutional, international, and family office segments
  • Translate market trends, client demand, and portfolio capabilities into differentiated product positioning and commercially compelling product narratives
  • Support ongoing product enhancement, positioning, and lifecycle management to ensure continued client relevance and commercial success
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement Serve as a key member of the firm’s leadership team, influencing strategic decisions at the highest levels
  • Lead and develop a high-performing, team across product development, product management, and RFP functions
  • Act as the central point of coordination across investments, distribution, legal, operations, and senior leadership
  • Present product strategy, pipeline, and performance insights to executive committees, boards, and other key stakeholders
