Requirements

  • Experienced R&D Leader from the Chemical Sector with a minimum of 10+ Years of experience with a technical background in Adhesives, Sealants or Surface Treatment.
  • Master’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science
  • Product Development Experience in Automotive quality standards environment (IATF 16949)
  • Prior experience working in international and multi-cultural environment.
  • Proven ability to drive, convince and develop individuals and teams.
  • Strong commercial and strategic skills
  • Knowledge in Digital Innovation & Gen AI Tool

Responsibilities

  • Leadership of Regional Product Development Teams for NAMEX region for Business Unit Automotive Electronics, E-Mobility & Components.
  • Steers the execution of Innovation Roadmaps, Innovation Portfolios and Sustainability Strategies.
  • Technical leadership responsibility for one Global Market Segment.
  • Maintains and enhance technical relationship with key technical stakeholders at Automotive OEMs & Tier1s. Develops relationships with perspective customers.
  • Creates and shapes a digital, inclusive, collaborative and inspiring working culture.
  • Coaches and develops the team to achieve and exceed innovation and business goals.
  • Manages collaborations with suppliers and external partners including universities and other Institutions.
  • Manages and coordinates teams across two different locations, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
