About The Position

The Head of Procurement centrally leads and manages the procurement function for the Unilode Group, ensuring strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization to drive business growth and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities and Mapped Competencies: Strategic Procurement Leadership: Ensures Accountability, Drive Results Develop, own, and implement the Procurement Strategy and governance framework across the Unilode Group. Drive a culture of continuous improvement within regional procurement teams, collaborating with leadership to optimize supplier partnerships. Introduce SMART SLAs into key contracts, ensuring service levels are met and include relevant service credits. Cost Optimization and Supplier Management: Financial Acumen, Collaborate Drive cost reduction in spare parts procurement, particularly A parts from major OEMs. Renegotiate contracts with key subcontractors to ensure cost-effectiveness and supplier performance. Identify and implement sourcing strategies to improve procurement efficiency and reduce risks. Operational Excellence and Compliance: Courage, Collaborate, Drives Results Establish procurement policies and ensure compliance with regulatory and industry requirements. Develop strong relationships with suppliers, OEMs, and key stakeholders to enhance service delivery. Requirements

  • Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) certification.
  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in international procurement and supply chain leadership.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement practices, contract drafting, and supplier management.
  • Strong negotiator with expertise in contract drafting and supplier agreements.
  • Leadership skills with a strategic mindset to optimize sourcing and supplier management.
  • Robust analytical and quantitative skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to engage stakeholders across all levels.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and creativity in problem-solving within a dynamic business environment.
  • Solid project management skills, successfully delivering multiple, complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience in the aviation industry, particularly asset procurement and OEM supplier management, is highly desirable.
