About The Position

Trillium Health Resources is a Tailored Plan and Managed Care Organization (MCO) serving 46 counties across North Carolina. We manage services for individuals with serious mental health needs, substance use disorders, traumatic brain injuries, and intellectual/development (IDD) disabilities. Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Head of Performance Measures to join our team! The Head of Performance Measures provides leadership for the oversight and supervision of the QM data analysis activities for Trillium Health Resources which includes being responsible for assuring compliance with the DMH and DHB contract requirements which includes NCQA accreditation, HEDIS reporting, as well as other external and internal reporting needs. The Head of Performance Measures identifies data needs and collection systems, interprets and analyzes relevant data, develops and submits required reports, identifies trends and patterns, and demonstrates statistical knowledge leadership. This position is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and direction of staff completing those functions.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree and three (3) years of experience in data collection, analysis, reporting, and/or use of databases. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and experience handling large datasets. OR
  • Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of experience in data collection, analysis, reporting, and/or use of databases. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and experience handling large datasets. OR
  • Equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must reside within North Carolina
  • Must be able to travel within catchment as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in: Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Human Service field (such as Psychology, Social Work, etc.), or other data related degree program
  • Experience in supervision of 2 or more employees.
  • Experience in quality improvement activities, HEDIS and relational databases, and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, graphs).
  • A working knowledge of Power BI.
  • Certified Specialist in Predictive Analytics (CSPA), Certified Machine Learning – Specialty (AWS), Predictive Analytics Certificate (SOA), and/or CAHIMS, ITIL v3 or equivalent certifications
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred. Six Sigma Green Belt level certification

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a working knowledge of all Federal Medicaid regulations, State rules and regulations, accreditation standards and Trillium requirements through ongoing review of contracts and manuals.
  • Support Accreditation and Delegation with the organization’s achievement and on-going maintenance of national accreditation and delegations.
  • Provide input to the annual Quality Management and Improvement Program (QMIP) Plan, the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement work plan and QM Evaluation, as well as QM related policies and procedures and forms.
  • Responsible for the management of the development of analytical reports, including conducting analysis, information synthesis, summarizing and interpretation of results, to include the identification of patterns and trends in data.
  • Prepare project plan for Health Plan HEDIS Measurements with prioritization of activities after conducting analysis and evaluation of performance data.
  • Responsible for all internal and external reporting activities derived from Health Plan HEDIS reported datasets.
