About The Position

We are building a highly efficient, high-growth organization. Our objective is precise: Grow to $40M ARR and achieve profitability with a lean team of just 12 FTEs. To achieve this, we prioritize skill and AI over headcount. We don’t rely on bloated middle management or slow corporate processes. We believe in extreme efficiency, intelligent AI-driven automation, and a team of high-agency builders who operate faster and smarter than the market. This is a role for a hands-on operator who wants to own the P&L, leverage AI to amplify their output, and scale a brand to 8-figures. As our Head of Performance Marketing, you are the engine room of Aonic’s growth. You are not just a media buyer; you are a data scientist, a creative strategist, and a technical architect rolled into one. You will sit directly in the driver’s seat of our revenue machine. Your mandate is clear: Drive Users and Sales via Paid Performance, maximize LTV via Email/SMS, and ruthlessly optimize our CAC.

Requirements

  • AI-First & Native in (Low-)code: You combine a deep understanding and usage of AI with the ability to build your own solutions. You have experience in coding (or "vibe-coding") using tools like Cursor, Make.com, or n8n to automate workflows and build internal tools.
  • Intellectual & Social Dexterity: You are Highly Book Smart (demonstrated by top-tier academic results/SATs/GPAs) yet Highly People Smart (possessing the empathy and sales psychology to understand what makes a customer click).
  • Commercial Instincts: You are Highly Street Smart. You view marketing through an ROI framework, identifying arbitrage opportunities where others see noise.
  • Drive: You are naturally ambitious, hungry, and hardworking. You take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks.
  • Education: Honors Degree from a Top Tier University.
  • Experience: 3-6 years of high-impact experience in a top-tier performance marketing team with a proven track record of scaling accounts massively.
  • Success: Proven track-record of taking accounts from hundreds to thousands or more monthly conversions.
  • Where you’ve been: A high-growth Startup or Scaleup - ideally in the e-commerce space.
  • Top-tier Performance Marketing Consulting firm specializing on e-commerce.

Responsibilities

  • Paid Acquisition Strategy: End-to-end management of paid ads across Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon, Youtube, Pinterest, Reddit and other, emerging channels. You understand the technical nuances of the algorithms and how to feed them the right data.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): You own the Landing Page strategy. You understand that traffic is useless without conversion, and you will build, test, and iterate high-converting funnels.
  • Retention & Lifecycle: Oversight of SMS & Email Marketing. You will minimize churn and maximize LTV through intelligent segmentation and automation.
  • Data & Attribution: You will own the Marketing Tracking Systems. You ensure we have pristine data attribution to make decisions based on contribution margin, not vanity metrics.
  • AI & Automation Architecture: You will utilize low-code tools and AI to automate reporting, bid management, and creative iterations, removing manual grunt work from your day-to-day.
