Homeowner membership offers exclusive benefits and rewards across home spend, mortgage originations, mortgage payments, HELOC, and more. Mesa is bringing credit card style membership to every financial product for your home. The Role The Head of Operations will play a critical role in overseeing our day-to-day operations and ensuring operational alignment with our business strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will be responsible for leading the execution of our strategy and help scale from 25 to 250+ people over the next year. This position will require a strategic leader with experience scaling a hyper growth startup.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (8-10+ years) in operations, with a leadership role at a high-growth startup or fast-paced organization.
  • Experience overseeing mortgage and card financial operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to inform marketing strategies and decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Strategy & Execution Translate company strategy into operational roadmaps and drive execution.
  • Own company OKRs and ensure alignment across teams.
  • Develop dashboards, reporting, and KPIs to measure progress and drive accountability.
  • Process & Systems Build scalable processes for compliance, risk, servicing, and partner integrations.
  • Implement systems and tools that allow the business to scale efficiently.
  • Identify bottlenecks and design solutions that drive efficiency.
  • People Operations Help us attract, retain, and engage world class talent.
  • Create a high performing culture based on our defined values.
  • Help us scale our team from 20 to 2000+ over the next few years.
  • Legal and Compliance Oversee the legal and compliance teams, ensuring all operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Stay abreast of evolving regulatory changes affecting mortgage and credit card operations, proactively adapting processes as needed.
  • Manage internal and external resources to mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
