The Head of Marketing is a strategic, hands-on executive responsible for advancing the Space Foundation’s global brand, market position, audience engagement, and revenue growth. This role leads the development and execution of an integrated marketing, communications, and go-to-market strategy across all channels—including brand, digital, PR, social, and direct marketing—to elevate the Space Foundation as the leading nonprofit organization serving the global space ecosystem. The Head of Marketing is both a strategist and operator—capable of setting vision while driving execution. This leader partners across a matrixed organization to align marketing with program goals, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and deliver measurable impact across core offerings, including space sector events, education programs, industry engagement, and thought leadership. The role requires a dynamic leader with deep, modern marketing expertise, strong executive presence, and the ability to navigate complexity, remove obstacles, and build a high-performing, mission-driven team and culture.
