About The Position

Virio is building the next-generation B2B GTM stack - an AI-powered content engine that turns executive thought leadership into a pipeline at scale. We’ve built a repeatable system for turning founder-led content into meetings, pipeline, and brand power. If you’re obsessed with growth, want to learn B2B GTM from the inside, and thrive in high-velocity startup environments, this role is for you. This isn't traditional marketing. This is brand-building meets demand generation—combining storytelling, category creation, and data-driven campaigns to own mindshare and drive pipeline. We're looking for a marketing leader to define how the market perceives us and architect the systems that convert attention into revenue.

Requirements

  • A storyteller and strategist. You can craft compelling narratives that resonate with B2B buyers and differentiate in crowded markets.
  • Demand-gen fluent. You understand full-funnel marketing - awareness, consideration, conversion - and know how to drive pipeline, not just impressions.
  • An experienced operator. You've built and led marketing functions before, whether at startups or high-growth companies, and know what good looks like.
  • Content-obsessed. You believe great content is a growth lever and can write, edit, or direct others to create work that actually gets read and shared.
  • Data-informed. You make decisions based on metrics and insights, not hunches. You know how to measure brand impact and campaign ROI.
  • B2B-native. You understand how enterprise and mid-market buyers think, how sales cycles work, and how to create marketing that accelerates deals.
  • Startup-ready. You thrive in ambiguity, operate autonomously, and don't need structure handed to you - you create it.

Responsibilities

  • Own the brand and narrative. Define Virio's positioning, messaging, and category strategy. Shape how prospects, customers, and the market understand who we are and why we matter.
  • Drive demand generation at scale. Build integrated campaigns across paid, content, events, and partnerships that generate qualified pipeline and accelerate deal velocity.
  • Build content that converts. Create thought leadership, case studies, product narratives, and educational content that establishes Virio as the go-to voice in next-gen GTM.
  • Launch campaigns that break through. Execute high-impact initiatives - product launches, webinars, executive dinners, industry partnerships - that create buzz and drive business outcomes.
  • Establish repeatable marketing systems. Build processes, templates, and infrastructure that let the team ship consistently and compound results over time.
  • Lead and scale the marketing function. Manage contractors, agencies, and future full-time hires across brand, content, demand gen, and communications.
  • Own LinkedIn and executive visibility. Make our founders, insights, and POV unmissable. Turn organic distribution into a competitive advantage.
  • Partner across the business. Work with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and leadership to align marketing with revenue goals and product strategy.
  • Measure what matters. Define success metrics - pipeline influenced, brand awareness, content engagement - and optimize campaigns based on data.
  • Move fast with modern tools. Leverage AI, automation, and low-code platforms to out-execute teams 10x our size.
  • Operate like a founding CMO. Be the strategic voice for marketing at the executive level while rolling up your sleeves to ship work yourself.
