The Job: As a Head of IT Procurement-Software, you’ll be part of our Global Supply Chain Sourcing - Indirect team working as an on-site employee.

Requirements

• 10+ years Software Procurement (Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management) experience with global, complex, strategic initiatives/ corporate environment required.
• 8+ years IT Technology Software Category required. Software focus required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Strategy, Finance, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Legal, or other quantitative discipline.
• Expert Level proficiency in Excel (VBA/macros not required), Strong Contract Negotiator.
• Core Competencies: People Management, Analytical Skills (Data/Financial/ Price Analysis), Project/Time Management, Problem Solving, Communication/ Presentation, Results Orientation, Contract Interpretational Accuracy, Relationship Building, Business & Professional Acumen.

Nice To Haves

• Management consulting background preferred.
• MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead People and IT Day-to-Day Contract Management Operations: Execute and support the IT Software Procurement Team through contract review, approval, detailed/ tactical tracking and administration while enhancing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for continuous improvement; Day to day management of software LCM’s.
• Negotiate Enterprise IT Software Contracts: Structure, lead, and support complex contract negotiations including contract license management as required in partnership with senior IT stakeholders/ advisory partners and focus on Software category from usage forecast to contract execution with multi-year savings and other detailed tracking.
• Category Management: Plan/Execute a software category strategy, creating specific strategies for the software category to drive cost savings, improve efficiency, and manage risks.
• Software Supplier Management: Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with IT suppliers to ensure better terms, performance, and innovation.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Leveraging data and analytics to gain insights into spending, performance, and market dynamics.
• Senior Stakeholder Management & Escalation Lead: Central point of contact for IT escalations in support IT Software Procurement Team as well as white glove handling for C-suite and other VIPs.
