About The Position

As an Infrastructure Delivery Lead, you will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and delivering infrastructure and platform initiatives that support the firm’s strategic objectives. This role is responsible for driving execution across infrastructure engineering and operations, ensuring work is prioritized, dependencies are managed, and initiatives are delivered with operational readiness. You will provide leadership across delivery planning, stakeholder coordination, and service reliability, enabling teams to consistently deliver high-quality technology services in a complex, fast-moving environment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or technology operations roles.
  • 5+ years of experience leading complex technology delivery initiatives across multiple teams.
  • Demonstrated experience managing both project-based delivery and operational workloads.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure domains, including compute, storage, networking, end-user platforms, and automation.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid infrastructure models.
  • Working knowledge of IT service management practices (Incident, Change, Problem, Service Level Management).
  • Experience coordinating delivery across internal teams and managed service providers.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence in matrixed environments.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical delivery details into executive-level insights.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and adapting plans as priorities shift.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and platform initiatives, including compute, storage, network, end-user platforms, automation, and core operational services.
  • Translate strategic priorities into executable delivery plans, milestones, and dependencies across engineering and operations teams.
  • Ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify delivery risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies early, and proactively drive mitigation plans.
  • Establish and manage a centralized intake process for infrastructure and operational technology demand.
  • Partner with business, technology, and leadership stakeholders to assess requests, define scope, and prioritize work based on value, risk, and capacity.
  • Balance project-based work, operational improvements, and business-as-usual demands across internal teams and external partners.
  • Maintain visibility into the full portfolio of infrastructure initiatives, operational commitments, and in-flight work.
  • Develop and deliver clear, concise reporting on delivery status, risks, dependencies, and outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Establish metrics and dashboards that provide transparency into progress, capacity, and service performance.
  • Ensure infrastructure initiatives are designed and delivered with operational readiness in mind, including support models, documentation, and handoffs.
  • Partner with operations and service management teams to improve incident, change, and problem management processes.
  • Support continuous improvement of IT service management practices to improve reliability, resilience, and user experience.
  • Own and mature core IT service management (ITSM) processes, including Incident, Change, Problem, Request, and Service Level Management.
  • Establish and monitor service metrics, KPIs, and SLAs to drive accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead service review cadences with stakeholders and vendors, ensuring performance trends, risks, and improvement actions are clearly tracked and addressed.
  • Ensure consistent operational governance across infrastructure services, including change quality, incident response effectiveness, root cause analysis, and service health reporting.
  • Drive data-informed service improvements that enhance reliability, stability, and end-user experience.
  • Act as a bridge between infrastructure engineering, operations, security, application teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate delivery efforts across internal teams, managed service providers, and third-party vendors.
  • Ensure alignment between infrastructure delivery, application needs, and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Oversee delivery commitments from external vendors and managed service providers.
  • Ensure vendor deliverables meet quality, timeline, and performance expectations.
  • Participate in vendor evaluations, planning, and governance related to infrastructure delivery.
  • Define and improve delivery standards, templates, and ways of working for infrastructure initiatives.
  • Promote consistent planning, execution, and communication practices across teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, tooling, and process refinement.
