About The Position

👋 Welcome to Glide! At Glide we’re reimagining the banking experience for the modern world . Our embedded fintech platform empowers legacy financial institutions, like community banks and credit unions, to pioneer novel digital experiences for their customers. You’ll be joining an all-star team with engineering, product, and growth experience from Stripe, Google, and Amazon. We’re looking for a talented Project Manager to help us grow our product to hundreds of banks. We’re bringing a new perspective to the decades-old financial world , and we’re hoping you can help us do that! We're looking for a Head of Implementation to own and scale our customer onboarding function, ensuring every client launch is fast, seamless, and sets the stage for long-term success.

Requirements

  • Proven experience overseeing customer implementations in a SaaS or fintech environment
  • Must have experience working with credit union or banking core systems
  • Strong customer empathy paired with operational rigor and process focus
  • Excellent stakeholder and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Ability to turn data into actionable insights and improve processes strategically.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous role leading implementations at an embedded fintech or SaaS startup.
  • Experience scaling teams and hiring implementation professionals.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Salesforce, implementation tracking platforms, and analytics dashboards
  • Background in fintech or financial services
  • Understanding of the competitive landscape for credit union and banking software.

Responsibilities

  • Own the implementation function at Glide from kickoff through go-live for all new clients.
  • Build the team : Hire, train and coach a team of implementation managers as we rapidly scale.
  • Create scalable processes : design playbooks, templates, and best practices to standardize delivery across all clients.
  • Proactively identify risks or delays—escalate and resolve issues creatively and effectively.
  • Measure and optimize metrics like implementation duration, time-to-value, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally : work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure smooth handoffs and aligned priorities.
  • Act as the customer’s advocate—anticipate their needs, resolve questions preemptively, and drive satisfaction.
