About The Position

As the Head of Human Resources you will oversee all aspects of the talent management (recruitment, selection, and development) and human resources functions (total rewards, training, employee relations, safety, and compliance) for ElleVet. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's goals and values, provide partnership and guidance to our team members across the organization, and attract, retain, and develop top talent while fostering a positive and communicative company culture.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR policies and procedures, as well as employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business goals.
  • Ability to successfully manage, develop, and influence a team (direct and indirect reports).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience in HR management, with a minimum of two years in a leadership position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company's goals and values.
  • Oversee the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention of top talent across the organization.
  • Role model and foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement, satisfaction, and productivity.
  • Develop and lead performance management programs, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development.
  • Administer and maintain the compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
  • Provide partnership and guidance to the business, ensuring that all policies and procedures are following legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure that HR initiatives are aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Regulate employee relations and provide coaching and counseling to employees when needed.
  • Provide recommendations to employee training and development programs.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of HR programs and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices, and continuously evaluate and improve HR policies and practices.
