About the Role eBay seeks a Head of Focus Experiences for eBay Partner Network to direct affiliate marketing strategies supporting eBay Live and Consumer-to-Consumer (C2C) growth. The position is within ePN and will build, grow, and enhance demand driven by affiliates for important emerging business sectors. This leader will work at the intersection of performance marketing, live commerce, and marketplace growth. They will develop affiliate strategies that increase incremental GMB, acquire high-value buyers and sellers, and strengthen the long-term health of the ecosystem. The ideal candidate has over ten years of experience in digital marketing and extensive knowledge of affiliate marketing. They have strong analytical skills and manage uncertainty while ensuring collaborators meet their commitments. What You Will Do

Requirements

  • Over 10 years of experience in digital marketing, with extensive knowledge in affiliate and performance marketing.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable GMB and customer acquisition growth.
  • Strong critical thinking paired with operational rigor.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities; proficiency in SQL is highly desired.
  • Strong negotiation and collaborator management skills.
  • Comfortable challenging assumptions and influencing senior leadership.
  • Clear communicator who sets expectations, builds compelling narratives and drives accountability.
  • Ownership approach with high standards for execution.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to build structure where none exists.
  • Bias toward balanced, long-term growth rather than short-term gains.

  • P&L responsibility for a marketing channel preferred.
  • Experience supporting live commerce, creator ecosystems, or marketplace businesses strongly preferred.
  • Experience operating in fast paced, ambiguous environments and building new playbooks from scratch.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and take responsibility for the global affiliate strategy supporting the Focus Experiences, eBay Live and C2C initiatives.
  • Identify scalable partner models to drive incremental buyer acquisition, seller activation, and engagement.
  • Translate high-level company priorities into measurable affiliate growth plans with clear benchmarks and accountability structures.
  • Anticipate industry trends in live commerce and content creator ecosystems to inform long-term strategy.
  • Recruit, onboard, and optimize relationships with top-tier affiliate partners, content creators, and media publishers.
  • Build commercial models and incentive structures aligned with business outcomes.
  • Partner with regional collaborators to localize strategies where appropriate while maintaining global consistency.
  • Presenting and updating leadership teams including marketing senior executives and regional senior executives.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Live, Seller Experience, Analytics, Legal, and Finance teams to complete and deliver results.
  • Navigate ambiguity across new initiatives by clarifying goals, defining success metrics, and aligning collaborators.
  • Establish operating rhythms and reporting frameworks to ensure execution rigor.
  • Hold partners and internal teams accountable for delivering against commitments.
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to build and maintain robust performance dashboards for performance tracking and reporting.
  • Conduct deep cohort, incrementality, and value analysis to inform investment decisions.
  • Identify optimization levers across funnel performance: traffic quality, user engagement, conversion, AOV, retention etc.
  • Make data-driven recommendations on budget allocation and scaling decisions.
