At the heart of Mercedes-Benz.io business operations, our Finance team is responsible for corporate finance, controlling, and procurement. We work closely with people, partners, and the business to enable smart, sustainable decision-making. We are looking for a Head of Finance & Procurement to join us. In this role, you will lead our controlling, financial, and procurement operations, ensure high-quality reporting, support strategic decision-making, and enable efficient, compliant, and value-adding processes across the organization. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL Provide strategic leadership and governance across Finance and Procurement Advise and partner with Managing Directors and Executive Board members as a trusted co‑pilot on finance and procurement matters Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, cash management, and risk management activities Ensure high-quality, timely statutory financial statements in compliance with local GAAP (SNC) and group consolidation requirements Own month-end and year-end financial closing, coordinating with shared services, outsourced accounting, and treasury partners Monitor financial performance by preparing and presenting monthly KPIs, insights, and recommendations to the CFO and executive leadership Define and oversee procurement strategies, ensuring compliant and value-driven processes across sourcing, contracting, vendor management, and cost optimization Maintain internal policies and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements Represent Finance & Procurement in strategic discussions, risk assessments, and financial governance forums Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary Finance & Procurement team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and growth Be responsible for hiring, onboarding and offboarding, performance reviews, and disciplinary processes within the team Job requirements TO SUCCEED YOU NEED University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; local CPA certification is strongly preferred Native-level Portuguese and fluent English (C1), written and spoken is mandatory Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial management including people leadership Strong experience in financial statement preparation, management reporting, and in-depth financial analysis Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills , with the ability to influence at senior levels Medium to advanced MS Excel skills and basic experience with Power Automate Ability to align financial strategies with broader business objectives Strong people leadership skills with the ability to inspire trust and build strong relationships High ability to learn and operate effectively in a hybrid setup THERE WILL BE BIG SMILES IF YOU Hold a recognized finance certification such as CPA or equivalent Have experience in procurement or close collaboration with procurement functions Have worked with AI tools for predictive forecasting, reporting automation, or process optimization Bring an entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving skills Have experience in agile, digital product, or technology-driven environments YOU WILL BE HAPPY WITH Open source software No top-down hierarchy. Requirements

University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; local CPA certification is strongly preferred
Native-level Portuguese and fluent English (C1), written and spoken is mandatory
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial management including people leadership
Strong experience in financial statement preparation, management reporting, and in-depth financial analysis
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills , with the ability to influence at senior levels
