About The Position

Head of Corporate & Investment Banking (“CIB”) Testing – Executive Director Americas Compliance manages compliance and regulatory risk by establishing compliance policies, overseeing the execution of controls, advising the business and control functions, providing training, and managing regulatory examinations and relations. The CIB Testing Team sits in Compliance yet is independent from policy-making and control-executing teams, serving as a quasi “line 2 ½” in the three lines of defense model. Summary Supervision and Regulation Letter SR08-8: Compliance Risk Management Programs and Oversight at Large Banking Organizations with Complex Compliance Profiles defines the framework that large and complex banks must have in place to effectively manage compliance risk. A key pillar of this framework is the testing of compliance controls.
