Head of Business Development, DTC

About The Position

We are looking for a founding Business Development leader to build and scale our DTC business in the U.S. market. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through both direct client acquisition and strategic partnerships, while establishing our market presence in the U.S. You will work closely with global leadership and cross-functional teams to bring integrated marketing and AI-driven solutions to DTC brands.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years in BD / partnerships / growth roles in DTC, eCommerce, or digital marketing
  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals
  • Deep understanding of Shopify ecosystem and paid media (Meta, Google, TikTok)

Nice To Haves

  • Existing network with DTC brands or founders in the U.S.
  • Experience with agencies, MarTech, or growth platforms
  • Cross-border business experience (China ↔ U.S.)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset (comfortable with 0→1 ambiguity)
  • Strong ownership and execution capability
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
