About The Position

The Head Men’s Soccer Coach oversees all aspects of the men's soccer program at Hastings College. This includes but is not limited to recruitment, player development, game strategy, and program administration. The coach will work closely with student-athletes to foster a positive and competitive team culture while promoting academic success and personal growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• At least three years of experience, preferably at the collegiate level

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Recruitment: Identify and recruit talented student-athletes while maintaining relationships with high school coaches and club teams. Monitor academic progress to ensure compliance with standards.
• Player Development: Design training sessions, provide individualized feedback, and foster a competitive team environment.
• Game Strategy: Develop and implement game strategies, scout opponents, and make in-game adjustments.
• Program Administration: Manage budget, fundraise, coordinate travel arrangements, and collaborate on department initiatives.
• Student-Athlete Support: Mentor student-athletes, advocate for their needs, and promote sportsmanship on and off the field.
