Job Summary: Responsibilities: We're seeking a Head Lifeguard to join our team. As our new Lifeguard you will: As our new Head Lifeguard you will: Supervise Lifeguard staff Work hours as a Lifeguard Administrative work as assigned Schedule lifeguard staff Maintain certification records of all LG staff Help the Aquatics Manager with training Serves as the manager on deck during events and/or swim meets Maintain watch over the pool area ensuring a secure and safe environment Employ accident prevention by enforcing pool rules and regulations Respond to all injuries, incidents, and emergencies as directed by club policy Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the aquatics center Other duties as assigned The Ideal Candidate would have: Three years of Lifeguarding experience One year of aquatics supervision Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification (basic level) Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Certification or the ability to obtain the certification within 90 days of hire Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $19 - $21/unit in addition to admin rates as required by local law. Minimum rates may vary based on local wage laws. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications, duration of class, and work experience as well as other business needs.
