ISP Data - Head End Technician
About The Position
Headend Technicians are needed -Come join Patriot Broadband Technologies! Denver, Colorado - Primary | Travel to other states Required | Not Remote - Field position Patriot Broadband Technologies has an immediate need for an Head End Technician/ Network Deployment Engineer to join our talented ISP team completing projects in the Denver metro area and other out-of-state job site locations when needed. Our ISP team is recognized by our customers for their organized, high-level attention to detail on our projects. If you have these qualities, experienced with rack/stack/ DC power components and are willing to travel as business requires - read on and apply! Come grow with us! This role is NOT remote. A qualified candidate for the role has knowledge and experience in structured cabling in a data head end, running cable, installing racks, completing both new builds or tear downs and rebuilds. This is NOT a network security role. DC power knowledge is preferred, strong fiber/RF troubleshooting abilities and knowledge of performing safe work practices within the industry.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/ GED
- 2+ years experience;
- Strong fiber, coax, RF, and DC power skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work overtime/overnights as needed
- Valid driver’s license with good motor vehicle record
- Able to pass background for security clearances/drug screening
- Travel to other states as needed; current markets include Pennsylvania, Colorado, Georgia and Florida.

Responsibilities
- Rack/stack, DC power, grounding, structured cabling
- Test/troubleshoot RF & optical circuits
- Interpret engineering drawings; maintain field notes
- Travel for projects, and migrations
- Proficiently perform cable installation practices, dressing cables, lacing, terminations and labeling.
- Perform work at a high standard of output and detail oriented.
- Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies.
