About The Position
York School District One Head Cross Country Coach (Boys & Girls) Qualifications: High school diploma Excellent interpersonal skills Prior work with children preferred Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable Reports To: Athletic Director Job Goal To develop, plan, organize and implement a sound cross country team plan that will help participating students achieve a high level of skill and promote an appreciation of the values of discipline and sportsmanship. Specific Job Requirements Possess and utilize excellent team building skills Accept delegated responsibilities willingly Able to work under occasional stress Demonstrate a high level of initiative in job performance Demonstrate a professional attitude in working with students and staff members Evaluation: The performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation.
