About The Position

Frostburg State University (FSU), Athletics, is accepting applications for a full-time, exempt Head Volleyball Coach. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Position includes the robust University System of Maryland benefits package, which is comprised of annual, personal, and sick leave, holidays, tuition remission, health, dental, vision, and life insurance, and retirement plans. Administer all aspects of the women’s volleyball program. The head coach is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the program, including practice planning, game day preparation, recruiting, budget management, scholarship administration, academic monitoring, fundraising, and the mentorship and development of student‑athletes. The head coach will recruit and retain a roster of 20 student‑athletes who are expected to be academically successful, socially responsible, and competitively prepared to represent Frostburg State University in the Mountain East Conference and NCAA Division II. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of coaching experience at the high school, club, collegiate level, or above.
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
  • Proven ability to recruit student-athletes.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with 3-5 years of coaching at the collegiate level or above.
