About The Position

Missouri Baptist University is looking to hire a Head Coach (Men's Soccer). The Head Coach will lead and oversee the assigned athletic program, recruiting, and then fostering a culture of excellence, sportsmanship, and personal development among student-athletes. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader with a passion for athletics, a commitment to student success, and the ability to inspire and mentor young athletes.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
Three (3) years of experience related to the above described duties.

Nice To Haves

Master's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
Five (5) years of experience related to the above described duties.

Responsibilities

Developing and implementing training programs.
Conducting practices and training sessions.
Analyzing athletes' performances and providing feedback.
Developing game strategies and playbooks.
Monitoring the physical and mental condition of athletes.
Scouting and evaluating potential student-athletes.
Communicating with high school coaches and athletes.
Organizing and conducting campus visits for recruits.
Coordinating recruiting trips and attending high school games and tournaments.
Managing budgets and ensuring compliance with financial guidelines.
Scheduling games, practices, and travel arrangements.
Overseeing equipment and facilities.
Ensuring compliance with NAIA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations.
Maintaining records and statistics.
Providing academic support and ensuring athletes maintain eligibility.
Offering personal and career advice.
Supporting athletes' overall well-being and development.
Representing the team and college at public events and functions.
Engaging with the media and promoting the program.
Participating in fundraising and alumni events.
Building relationships with fans, boosters, and the local community
