About The Position

Responsible for the recruitment and development for the program including assessing academic eligibility of prospective student-athletes and athletic talent through observation and communication with coaches and other officials. Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding to ensure team compliance with NCAA, Big South Conference, and institutional rules and regulations. Organize and develop a competitive playing schedule that minimizes missed class time and includes conference and non-conference opponents. Develop team travel itineraries and requests for transportation, meals, and lodging. Also, submit annual budget requests for equipment, supplies, officials, etc.

Requirements

• An accomplished coaching background in men's soccer
• A thorough knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• A proven ability to instruct, develop and recruit student-athletes
• Impeccable personal and professional integrity

Nice To Haves

• Documented success as a coach at the collegiate level strongly preferred.
