Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, organizes and administers a competitive Division I intercollegiate football program
  • Recruits student-athletes within NCAA guidelines
  • Executes practice organization and develops game strategy
  • Cultivates student-athletes’ skill and strategy related to the sport
  • Assists with development of team budget and abide by same
  • Develops working relationship with athletic administration and support staff in the overall management of the football program
  • Adheres to all university, NCAA and MEAC policies and procedures and educate student-athletes about the same
  • Foster an environment that prioritizes academic success, personal growth, character development, and well-being
  • Mentor student-athletes on academic planning, goal setting, leadership, communication skills, and responsible citizenship
  • Participates in fundraising and community service activities
  • Promote an inclusive team environment that respects diversity and supports belonging for all student-athletes
