About The Position
At Sprouts Farmers Market, the Head Cashier is responsible for the supervision of a team of cashiers and assistance with operational issues. The role involves ensuring excellent customer service through proactively visiting registers and providing direction/support to Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks, assisting in potential customer assistance issues at the register, assigning store sweeps, monitoring/maintaining cash register supply levels, and maintaining cleanliness standards in the restrooms and parking lots. The Head Cashier also maintains visibility of the exit doors for security and loss prevention issues, schedules and oversees proper execution of appropriate meal and rest breaks in compliance with company policy and state requirements, and assists in the hiring and training of new Cashiers while taking necessary steps for disciplinary actions.
