At Sprouts Farmers Market, the Head Cashier is responsible for the supervision of a team of cashiers and assistance with operational issues. Ensure excellent customer service through proactively visiting registers and providing direction/support to Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks. Assist in potential customer assistance issues at the register. Assign store sweeps, monitor/maintain cash register supply levels and maintain cleanliness standards in the restrooms and parking lots. Maintain visibility of the exit doors for security and loss prevention issues. Schedule and oversee proper execution of appropriate meal and rest breaks in compliance with company policy and state requirements.   • Outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to operate front end equipment such as register, calculator, scanner.
  • Good communication skills and ability to take direction.
  • Ability to perform repetitious activities and multi-task.
  • Must lift/carry product weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Must use both hands to move grocery carts requiring a force up to 35 lbs.
