About The Position

HE Claims Specialist handle the day to day operations of an accident claim from beginning to end.

Requirements

  • Previous claim handing experience preferred
  • Prior automotive or salvage experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills to ensure excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Highly motivated, strong initiative, self-starter with team focus.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Strong investigative and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates dependability, punctuality and excellent attendance.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with peers.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and sends loss notices to client and carrier.
  • Manages a dedicated set of files. Follows client parameters.
  • Answers calls from drivers, clients, and shops. Answers questions from the same. Delivers high class customer service to all customers.
  • Accurately gathers and uploads all claim documentation into system.
  • Enters all required data fields into system. Requests values from client as needed. Verifies claim details.
  • Orders appraisals
  • Communicates with client to gather approvals/ discuss total losses
  • Drives repair process for expedited cycle time.
  • Minimizes repair delays by diligent follow up. Gathers supports for delays and price increases
  • Assists with coordinating scheduling of estimate and repairs
  • Participates in client review meetings
  • Provides detailed recommendations for next steps on complex claims.
  • Processes claim invoices timely and correctly
  • Meets or exceeds both individual and team recovery performance metrics.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.
