The Harvest Supervisor reports to the Slaughter Office for order sheets and attends supervisor meetings. This role involves directing employees to ensure production volume, quality, cost, and schedules are met. The supervisor is responsible for handling employee grievances, actively participating in group and line meetings, and collaborating with the Quality Control department to maintain product quality and food safety. Additionally, the supervisor trains and develops employees to build management depth and teamwork, monitors the proper maintenance and sanitation of machinery, equipment, and facilities, and ensures good employee relations and adherence to labor contract provisions. The position requires contact with both line personnel and plant management.
