This position is responsible for maintaining high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible. It requires an essential understanding and control of the production process, accurate record keeping, and general line maintenance and staffing. The supervisor will oversee daily production orders, ensure all positions are filled, manage Team Member morning exercises and job rotation for ergonomics, and ensure machinery performs to standard. Additional duties include ensuring USDA Inspection compliance, promoting safety through daily practices and monthly meetings, and managing accurate shipments, inventory rotation, and product coding. The role also involves communicating company benefits and compensation, fostering team morale, and performing human relations functions such as training, retaining, and counseling Team Members. Furthermore, the supervisor will oversee processing operations, collaborate with other supervisors on problem-solving, keep records of reworked products, and provide continuous quality education.
