About The Position

The primary task is to place birds onto shackles throughout the shift. Work environment temperature varies based on the temperature outside. The average temperature is 90 degrees or above. Will rotate to various positions within the department, perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor, and work overtime if needed.

Responsibilities

Responsible for operating the kill machine.
Ability to hang 35 birds per minute (3-5 lbs. Birds)
Willing to work the dump station
Ability to catch stray birds
Ability to use both hands for lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 6 lbs.
Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to stand on hard surfaces for up to 10 hours per day
Ability to walk, climb, bend, and stoop
Repetitive gripping, pushing, pulling, and bending
Frequent overhead work

Must have completed 90 days since the last termination date.
Termination Limit: if terminated 3x times or more, not eligible at this location.
