About The Position

The Harvest Office Assistant plays a key role in supporting daily operations during the harvest season. This position serves as a central point of communication for employees, supervisors, and management, while ensuring efficient office coordination and compliance with company policies and state regulations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive, professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office equipment (e.g., printers, copiers, scanners, fax machines).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a harvest or production facility preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish or English/Punjabi) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional and timely manner.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide support throughout the shift.
  • Relay messages accurately to managers, supervisors, HR, and office personnel.
  • Greet employees and assist with clock-in procedures upon arrival.
  • Coordinate and monitor employee break rotations in compliance with Washington State labor laws and company minor variance guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the harvest office, lunchroom, and restrooms; restock supplies as needed.
  • Enforce company policies, including COVID-19 safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Provide verbal and written translation support for supervisors, managers, and HR, as needed.
  • Complete daily administrative paperwork and maintain clear communication with HR and leadership teams.
  • Assist HR with seasonal employee onboarding and orientation processes.
  • Coordinate and schedule employee training sessions.
  • Support shift start-up and close-out procedures, including preparation of required documentation and materials.
