What You'll Do: Here are some of the tasks you'll be responsible for daily: Welcomes guests, reads and listens to determine beverage preferences, makes recommendations, and takes drink orders Expertise of drink and food menus and informs guests about new beverages and specials Selects and mixes ingredients, garnishes glasses, and serves beverages to guests Checks identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol Takes inventory to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations Handles cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to guests, balancing the cash register Maintains a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, washing glasses, utensils, and equipment Assists in the development of new cocktail recipes Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements: 2-3 years of bartending experience Solid food and beverage knowledge Strong sense of urgency Strong interpersonal and team player skills Hospitality experience; hotel or restaurant (preferred) Alcohol Safety Training certificate (preferred) When You’re Here: This position will depend on employment at Harry’s restaurant or Banquet department Be prepared to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays This position will require moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces This position will require moving for 90% of the time sometimes in varying temperatures Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
