About The Position
Our Amissville, VA sawmill is hiring for a hardwood log scaler. This is a great opportunity for an individual with prior scaling and/or log grading experience. This person would be identifying log type, grade and scaling logs. This is a full-time opportunity working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer.
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year experience scaling logs - this is not an entry level position
- Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on safety and quality
