About The Position

We are seeking an extraordinary and driven Hardware Systems Manager to lead the development and deployment of hardware characterization efforts. These crucial systems will validate the coexistence performance of unreleased Apple products, directly defining how our core hardware components are calibrated, tested, and manufactured. The ideal candidate will possess proven managerial experience, a robust Electrical Engineering background, exceptional debugging capabilities, and scripting proficiency. This role demands a strong drive to deliver tangible, functional systems, translating concepts into real-world solutions that impact future hardware products. You will guide, challenge, and champion a team of top-tier engineers, fostering an environment of innovation and excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of direct, practical experience in hardware engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years demonstrating effective engineering people management or team leadership
  • Profound experience in the failure analysis, functional verification, and debugging of intricate electronic hardware system
  • Proven track record of leading teams through the full lifecycle of developing and deploying automated test and measurement systems for complex hardware
