Requirements

High school degree or equivalent; some college preferred.
Experience in a retail environment either in inventory, sales, or back office.
General understanding of inventory principles and experience with retail programs.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills.
Proficient typing and computer skills.
Knowledge of retail computer systems.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Capable of inspiring and motivating others to execute best practices.
Passion for detail, inventory management and store operations.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required.
Ability to stand for extended periods, as well as frequent walking, reaching, and bending to perform job duties.
Move and handle merchandise up to 80 pounds.
Ability to climb ladders or use step stools to access high shelves for inventory management.
Ability to push and pull inventory carts, pallets, and other equipment used for transporting merchandise.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle tools and inventory items safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Manage and update inventory records accurately.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
Perform regular stock checks and audits.
Organize and maintain the warehouse.
Stay informed about inventory best practices
Ensure data accuracy in the system to maintain adequate inventory levels.
Train store staff on best practices and promote a culture focused on inventory health.
Collaborate with associates to identify and address errors, focusing on root causes.
