As a part of the Multimarket Business Group, the System Engineering Hardware team is responsible for developing silicon validation board (EVB) and customer reference design board (CRB) for products ranging from compute processors, CXL accelerators, Security controllers as well as custom SoCs. Engineers on the team lead board design from concept through silicon validation by collaborating with internal cross-functional teams and external partners.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a BACHELOR'S degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields with an anticipated graduation date between Winter 2026 and Spring 2027
  • Solid foundation in digital circuit design and analysis
  • Exposure to embedded programming, preferably in C
  • Familiarity with Linux environments and basic scripting
  • Understanding of low-speed communication protocols such as I2C and SPI
  • Introductory knowledge or hands-on experience with FPGA/RTL design, including simulation and execution

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside system design engineers to be part of the real design, review, bring-up process
  • Hands on in lab with test engineers working on board issue debugging and test
  • Customize FPGA logic for evaluation board control
  • Schematic and layout review of internal and customer HW design
  • Lab support for customer HW and SW bring-up
