About The Position

To provide new innovations for customers and enhanced safety for delivery drivers, we are building a globally connected fleet of delivery vehicles. We are combining best in class IoT technologies (sensors, embedded devices, wearables, and robotics), real-time data streams (video, LiDAR, RADAR, vehicle telematics, location, and presence), together with machine learning models and algorithms – to create solutions that allow us to deliver faster, and with improved safety outcomes. As a manager for hardware development, you will lead and grow multiple teams. You will oversee the development of in-vehicle edge compute devices, sensors, cameras, and software products for our WW Fleet. Working in parallel with our operations team, you will own the deployment and installation of these products at scale. You will work closely with our fleet management team and industry OEMs to deliver hardware solutions for current vehicles, contribute to the design of solutions for future vehicles, creating enhanced solutions for our drivers without compromising on safety. Across the Last Mile organization, you will work with peer teams to integrate with their systems and products. You will be a trusted partner for your counterparts in HR, finance, and business development teams, playing a lead role in technical evaluations, operational planning, and other business activities.
