Handyman (Técnico de Mantenimiento General) – JLL Lo que involucra este trabajo: Este puesto se enfoca en reparar, proteger y embellecer diversas superficies interiores y exteriores en las instalaciones del cliente, realizando trabajos especializados de pintura y carpintería menor. Como Técnico de Mantenimiento General, contribuirás directamente a mantener la excelencia operativa de JLL al asegurar que las instalaciones de nuestros clientes mantengan los más altos estándares de calidad y funcionalidad. Cómo será tu día a día: Realizarás diversas tareas relacionadas con pintura, carpintería, pisos, gabinetes, plomería, techado y trabajos similares bajo la dirección del supervisor. Utilizarás diversas técnicas de revestimiento de paredes y soluciones para completar proyectos. Retirarás muebles, equipos y accesorios del área de trabajo cuando sea necesario. Instalarás y repararás paneles de gypsum board y cemento, aplicando esquineros, cintas, parches, lijado, lavado a presión y pintura. Inspeccionarás diversas superficies dañadas como áreas afectadas por agua o grietas en techos y paredes para remodelación. Utilizarás herramientas y equipos de manera adecuada, contribuyendo a un entorno de trabajo seguro. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in multiple areas such as painting, plumbing, carpentry, wall patching, installation, and finishing of gypsum board
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and work in confined spaces.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
  • Previous experience in general maintenance and carpentry.
  • Ability to estimate projects and order materials.
  • Knowledge to modify or adapt techniques according to specific project needs.

Responsibilities

  • Performing tasks related to painting, carpentry, flooring, cabinetry, plumbing, roofing, and similar work under supervision.
  • Utilizing various wall covering techniques and solutions to complete projects.
  • Removing furniture, equipment, and accessories from the work area when necessary.
  • Installing and repairing gypsum board and cement panels, applying corner pieces, tape, patches, sanding, pressure washing, and painting.
  • Inspecting damaged surfaces such as water-affected areas or cracks in ceilings and walls for remodeling.
  • Using tools and equipment properly, contributing to a safe working environment.
